The concept behind Mickey Factz latest mixtape is brilliant. The title, "I'm better than you" is not necessarily talking to another individual and saying I'm better than YOU, it's more of an act of self evaluation. He's saying to himself, "I am better than YOU". I find that so relatable. If you're gonna compare to me to anyone at least compare me to who I USED to be. I know this tape's been out for some weeks now but I took my time in listening to it. I'm still finding motivation and inspiration in the old mixtapes each time I listen to it. I felt it was time for ummm, new stuff. I sincerely hope to meet this man ONE day. He's amazing. ♥

MAXIE B'S BAKERY

Soooo, the other day I received some bad news regarding my darlin dad. He's alright now. But yeah I got the news while I was in class and that just threw my whole mood off. You know you love someone when you can't even entertain the thought of any harm coming their way. Yeahhh, but I digress. Trying not to dwell on the negative, yaknow?
Lucky for me THOUGH, I have a great friend in this chikita named Erika! We left campus, got some food then she introduced me to this bakery. I don't think they're a franchise though, it's called "Maxie Bs" . The environment was sooo amazing and homey and absolutely welcoming! PLUS I haven't had anything sweet in a minute. No pastries. Nada. Not even a pop tart or sum'm. So you can imagine I was like a kid in a candy store! smh. Erika's little brother didn't even wanna leave! lmao. see...






I got the red velvet. the slices were surprisingly..ummm...hefty!
Can't wait to devour that joint...it's still chilling in the fridge. lol I got a bit overwhelmed.
