The only distasteful aspect about winter is the fact that the mind numbing cold temperatures keep you from even thinking about showing skin. Tuh! Boyyy this was one of THE most relaxing nights I have ever had; basically, the last day of class, I got home, got into my comfy clothes, whipped up a cup of tea and watched the NCIS marathon for the rest of the day. Ugh pure bliss.

ART SCHOOL GIRL

Title of the post from NinjaSonik!!! lol weird that I'm typing in a tone of excitement when my current mood is NOT eeeeen remotely close being cheery or any other relatable word. LMAO like MOST college students in the U.S., studies are currently kicking our asses. But I won't let that stress me yo! *dusts off shoulders* on to other things. I titled this post "art school girl" 'cause more than once, the topic of why I do not attend an art school has come up in conversations. I can't really speak for individuals who ARE enrolled in an art school, BUT I think if I were to be in an art school, my artistic side would absolutely suffer. For the most part, people are a reflection of the environment they're in. I just think the more I were to be surrounded by people who are constantly expressing themselves, the more I would feel the need to supress my artistic side. Yaknow? 'Cause after a while, everyone would begin to look the same. I'm most inspired by the lack of inspiration around me. The more people appear intimidated by my will to wear my individuality on my sleeve, the more they seem to take the back seat and such. I just want to be somewhere where I'm surrounding by like minded people but at the same time, around people that are opposites. An equilibrium definitely has to be set. Otherwise.......I'll go lady gaga on a muh'fucka.

I posted a video of an underground artist and San Diego, CA native by the name of Makeshift a while back, due to the hectic nature of school, I'm just now sharing his mixtape with you all. I've been vibing to it for the past hour. I hope you all vibe to it!
To me, greatness can be measured in infinite ways but the way I measured the greatness of the jawnts on this mixtape is: the fact that his lyrics inspired and generated ideas in my head. The only other (current) hip hop artists that has had that effect on me is Mickey Factz , Rich P and Scienze ...so far.

I'M ADDICTED TO LIFE, IT'S GONNA BE HARD TO QUIT

My three favorite adjectives: Silky, suave and sophisticated. Once upon a time, someone asked me to describe myself in 3 words and those came to mind and it's stuck ever since then. Moving on...lol I have an almost ritualistic behavior that follows each time I purchase something new. In this case, this was given to me. The thingy pinned to my shirt is an itty bitty scarf. So far, I've worn it in 4 different ways, this being the 5th.
Seriously, give me a rag and I'll show 50 different ways you can wear it. No exaggeration. (: I'm thankful for that gift.
I haven't worn this mustard sweater in a while, I had to put a swanky outfit together 'cause it's been so looooonnnnggggg.

Well...more like teal but youuuu get THE point!!! lol I've been experimenting with makeup like crazy! Who wants to buy a makeup start up kit for me as a Christmas gift, pweeeeaaasseeeee? I would make magic. I don't wear makeup like that so I'm still working up the nerves to walk into any store and drop like at least $100 to get all the basics. Bronzer, blush, several colors of lipstick and allllllat. *sigh* In the meantime though, I'll work with what I have and what my sister has. lol little does she know.......lmfao
