VIDEO: L.A. x "I'M ALIVE"

Directed by: S(c)e(n)e Media. How often are you moved by talent? Like, actual talent? I'm talking mind-numbing, Spirit-soaring talent? How often do you feel overwhelmed, dwelling in the realm of another's Creative energy? How do you react?

There are rare occasions where I've glanced at a photograph, listened to a song or marveled at the majestic form of ballerina,with my face glazed with a smile, spun by the doings of the subconscious. I live for those moments; I anticipate them. I anticipate them like a starved man hungers for food. Or a broken heart yearns to be healed. Or a like a mad man's cling to his last bit of sanity.

It is with that pleasure and more that I present to you undeniably one of Brooklyn's finest, L./\.'s latest visual from her sophomore project, titled "The L.A. Riots: Mental Fatality. "I'm Alive" is actually my favourite track; it literally sends chills and thrills up and down, up and down, up and down my spine.

The video features another budding Hip-Hop talent, K. Forbes!

In my eyes, music-wise, The Weeknd can do no wrong. I find his music to be mood-fitting almost always. The duty of music, as well as art is a whole is to command the presence of the soul of the receiver/viewer/listener. His music fulfills that time and time again. Speaking of great music, do me the grandest favor by checking out Brooklyn native MC, L.A.'s That's Rocawear performance. The word amazing does not begin to describe.

Unfortunate how I am just getting around to posting this. I'm especially enamoured how underlying concept of this video was well-pronounced. In case you are unfamiliar, L.A. is a Brooklyn-bred female MC and undoubtedly has an immeasurable amount of talent bestowed up on her. This video is off of her newest project titled, L.A. Riots: Mental Fatality produced by Hippie Sabotage . I've been reluctant to share the project seeing as I am yet to give it a thorough listen. With L.A.: the beautiful, passion-filled, lyrically-inclined as well as budding Hip-Hop phenom, I don't expect nothing less. With that said, I think you guys should click the link and download. Words cannot describe how much lyrical damage L.A. did on this track titled, "spitting-out-blood". And of course the word "damage" transcends to something positive here. I shared it with my two of my sisters and they were in complete awe, as I also was. They lent words of due praise while I felt chills travel through the nerves in my body with the delivery of each word. I'm incredibly proud of her, she's amazing. Just listen and enjoy. The video includes some tracks off of "The Presentation"> , the mixtape, I'm currently listening trying to figure out what track did L.A. perform in the lunchroom. The movie came out so dope, well put together, great directing and allllat.I spy some familiar faces. I love the movie as a whole BUT I can't help but to admit my favorite scene is the lunch scene. The gym scene is dope as well.

VIDEO: "A DAY IN L.A." x L.A. x SLICK JACKSON

Just when I thought female emcees/lyricists were extinct, my wife MeLodi , Dom O. Briggs and Tony Polo brought L.A. into my life.
I had the privelege of hearing this Brooklyn native spit on a track titled "musik" on Dom O. Briggs 's mixtape "The sounds of music". Flow, delivery, and lyrics is fucking ill. Can't wait to meet her, but in the mean time, here's some amazing visual by Slick Jackson , another incredible talent.
