I've literally been beating myself up because I did not learn of the presence of legendary Gil Scott-Heron till his death. Are there any other beautiful-poetic-souls I need be aware of before I further my existence?
I've made it my mission to learn as much about him as possible. So far, I've learned that he briefly attended the same high-school as my cousins, here in the Bronx. So, by association and relation, I too, can bask in that honor, right? The more depth cultivated in my research, the more amazed I am. Rest in music, Gil Scott-Heron.
