My first time hearing MAKESHIFT 's music and I am deeply impressed.. I love this joint. I def gotta remember to check his Bandcamp out. And y'all should too. Music of this substance will never resurface if we leave it suffocated and repressed underground. It is important that we support underground artists, their grind and their music.

Not too long ago, I approached @theeMAINEvent via twitter about a feature. It was supposed to be the usual email interview but thankfully, my mans @MookieX took the initiative to take it to THE next level ---turn the simple email interview into a video. It's crazy 'cause this is what I wanted to do earlier in the summer but I wasn't acquainted with any videographers. He did an excellent job, actually I wish the noise in the background was cleaned up and kept at a minimal but it still came out great. Take a look at the video and to get well acquainted with an amazing talent, Jermaine Maynard, his flow is crazy!!!:

RICH P: HARLEM'S OWN

It's NOT rare that you find a talent, especially nowadays, that's under(UNDER)ground, yet has more talent than the idiots that possess the spotlight in today's music. BUT, let me tell you RIGHT now, amongst a handful of people that I genuinely have invested my support, respect and love for, it's my mans Rich P .
I first became aware of Rich P's talent, I can't even remember the day but it was after I listened to:

DOPE SCIENZE x PHONETAP(E)

So I've been following this guy, @dopeScienZe for a short while on twitter and so far I've gathered: he's a hiphop artist on the come up and most certainly on his grind, he exhibits sincere humility (I respect that) and most importantly, he seems caught up in the ART, not the business (I respect that even MORE). Though I haven't heard much of his work yet, I am anticipating this mixtape (Phonetap(e)) he's currently working on. He passed me some links to some promo videos. Take a look so you can get more of a grasp on the concept behind the title of the mixtape plus more...:

Watching these artists get together to show....the WORLD, basically that hip hop is NOT dead. AH, much respect all of 'em.
