MY MONDAY VOL.2 [PART.2]

After being home for like 3 hours, I was all of a sudden overcome with the need to record a video followed by a mini photo session. I do hate my voice, but the e-mails and the tweets urging me to vlog more are hard as fuck to resist. Anyways doe. I figured out a new way to tie my turban! I don't even know how I managed to create this masterpiece lol BUT...

NO*14: SOHO SAILING

These are photos from the last shoot I did before leaving NY. I promise you, no exaggeration, we trekked all over the SoHo and NoHo area searching for spots suitable for back drops for the photos! lol. We met up around 11am and didn't round up till around 4. Yeah shit was severe but it was all worth it. Perhaps, I need a team. Ehh, I work better alone. I did the makeup and assisted in styling. For the most part, she had an idea of what she wanted her looks to look like.
I mixed up both edited and unedited shots. You can probably tell which I edited and allllat...

I'm a big lyrics reader. I run around the internet in search of lyrics from my favorite artists; that's the portal from which I've been drawing my inspiration from as of late.
But anwyway doe, I am infatuated with these pictures of myself, no vanity. I just love how I photographed in 'em. This is the first time I've had a photo shoot since I've been upstate (btw, I took these pictures a day before I took the ones a couple posts below with the scarf on).

THE SHINY SUIT THEORY

Another set of overdue pics. Not really much to say about that day except for the fact that I've had that jacket since um summer of 2009 and I've only worn it twice. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has those pieces in their closet. Yaknow? The type you buy and wait for the perfect outfit to come along and complete it? Yeah that's what this jacket was.
Anyways, the weather was perfect for this outfit the day I wore. I usually dress comfortably when I have a long day of classes ahead of me. I gotta start with this picture right hurr:

EDITORIAL: THE NEW EASE x CRAIG MCDEAN

These were photographed by Craig McDean for Vogue Italia. This month's issue. I love it. Simplicity at its finest. I think the model brought the shots to its full artistic potential. The looks are great. Kudos to the stylist. I'm not aware who it is...unfortunately. I meannnn, I could find out but I suddenly find myself bound at the ankles by lazyness. *sigh*

DEFINITION:DANK AND DAPPER

Last week, I wore an outfit I thougbt best portrays the exact platform I based the idea of "Dank and dapper" on. Anyone can be dank and dapper. It's more of a state of mind. An inside out type of thing. You have to feel it, to be it. Possessing the confidence and character to carry an outfit. Feel dank. Be dapper.

NO*5: THE MISADVENTURES OF SHE

Truthfully had no idea what to name this shoot...should've just put anonymous. This was purely for fun but I love how the shots came out!!!
We did 3 looks....as usual. Wasn't hard putting her looks together, good wardrobe selections. Made my job easy, but yeah I'm gonna post some of my favorites plus the ones that I've edited so far.
